Connected App

 A connected app is a framework that enables an external application to integrate with Salesforce using APIs and standard protocols, such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. Connected apps use these protocols to authenticate, authorize, and provide single sign-on (SSO) for external apps. Salesforce Admin or Developer in India : Developer should know Admin!

In India, the boundaries that differentiates an Admin and Developer seem to diminish at certain times. In the US, that is not the case. Trailhead provides good knowledge on the differences between different roles and you should really check that out. However, when it comes to India, as I said boundaries diminishes. What do I mean by that? Let me explain. I am a Salesforce Developer in India and often I have found myself doing the work of Admin and Developer both. You may get the reasons, to lower the cost, companies look for people who can do maximum stuff. In US, the specialization of Admin is trusted however in India, companies require a well-rounded professional who can do everything!  I am not saying Salesforce Admin job is not required in India. Don't get me wrong. IT IS REQUIRED. What I am trying to say is that there is a Developer who can do your work. Should you consider this? Why not.
