Guide to Salesforce

Hi,

I started learning Salesforce on 1st September 2020. And 2 months later, I became a certified Salesforce Developer. I will be providing the steps and site and content I followed to focus on the important stuff. I am sure if I, a procrastinator can do it, you can too.

Why should you do this?
I started learning Salesforce as a beginner and with a time table and schedule mentioned at the end of the page, I quickly got on top of things.

Ok so let's get to the point.

DAY 0

The first thing you should know is that there is a website trailhead.salesforce.com.

Sign up, make a new account if you haven't. Or log in if you already have an account. Comment if you face any difficulty.

Ok, so now this is your arena of battle. A word of caution: avoid getting distracted by too much information. We only have to focus on specifics to get started.

On the top right corner, you can see your badges and points. It will increase as you complete each module. That is a fun element of trailhead. Go explore a bit and come back.

To start:

This should be your first module: Trailhead basics.

Go ahead and finish the module and then we can proceed. All the best! Take your time, read each line, you will fall in love with trailhead.

Congratulations Trailblazer! You are on your way. Now, the second module that you should be doing is Trailhead Playground Management. Remember, this is the last time you are doing this module, you shouldn't have to come back to do this again. So do it like it's the last time. Make notes if you want to. Take your time and complete this module.

See you after you are done with Trailhead Playground Management. All the best!
Go do it.

Done? Ok now we know something. We can start on the technical aspect. You will find it easy. In case of any difficulty just comment below.

If you completed both the modules and liked it, the chances are you are well aligned to become a Salesforce professional.

My Strategy: I divided the modules into days and completed each day's task to advance on the Salesforce Journey.  I will give you my Day-wise strategy. It will take 14 to 15 days for you to complete this depending on your speed. I will recommend giving minimum 2-3 hours per day. You will never regret this decision;)

Remember: Report your progress to me daily and I will keep a track whether you are on your right path. For this, you can mail me at guide2salesforce@gmail.com
Complete the trailhead modules assigned each day and after 15 days, you will be ready to progress in your career.
I invite you to take your 15 days challenge to begin your Salesforce journey. All the best!
